Isaiah 54:10

“Though the mountains be shaken
    and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
    nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
    says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

God has covenanted peace with His people. He has vowed to give His children continuous peace. His Son is the Prince of Peace.  We are promised God’s eternal peace and His unfailing, unshakeable love.  God’s divine love, alive in us, cannot be shaken.  His peace cannot be removed.  Everything else can fall apart – mountains fall into the sea – and, yet, God’s peace and love remain constant.  Live fully and courageously in God’s Spirit of peace.  Be still, be content, be alive, and be free in His love.  He shows great compassion and pours out His peace on His beloved.
