Open Arms

Habakkuk 3:17-18  Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord,I will be joyful in God my Savior.

How mysterious it is that we worship God in our destitution, when all seems lost.  We find joy in Him alone, and we rejoice in His salvation.  He saves us from ourselves.  He saves us from our self-sufficiency.  We need Him.  We long to worship Him with our full selves.  We come to God, unhindered, with open arms. Oh, praise Him!
