Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
God operates in reverse from our egotistical thinking. In our small selves, we think we can earn His favor and become saved by good works; it’s all about us. God enlightens our thoughts to believe we are saved by His mercy and grace; it’s all about God at work in us. In our true selves, we recognize that transformation to healing, wholeness and holiness comes from God. Our ego wants us to live apart from God’s mercy and do life all alone; our true self in Christ deeply longs for His saving and healing mercy! His Spirit has all of the the power and does renew our minds, replenishes our souls, and regenerates the work of our hands to bless others for His glory. More and more branches regenerate from the Vine of Christ, as His Spirit connects and restores us into right relationship with Him. Pray for God’s mercy!
