When our lives are confronted with waves of doubt, fear, disappointment or unexpected grief, we are prone to be tossed around by our circumstances. Our human nature is swayed by the sea of choices and reactions. Our spiritual nature knows that, in a perfect storm, Christ is our security. Hebrews 6:19 says “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” The sea of circumstances may be rough, but our soul is unmoved in Christ. The boat that is representative of our individual lives cannot float far from truth, security, peace, joy, love and hope, when the anchor is Christ. Be anchored to the Savior and remain calm in the storm.
