1 Chronicles 28:20  David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you.”

When we surrender to God’s plans, He strengthens us for His work, He gives us courage to overcome fears of inadequacy and hopelessness, and He gives us powerful purpose to partner with Him for His glory.  David knew that God planned for His son, Solomon, to finish the service of the temple of the Lord and encouraged Solomon to be strong and courageous because God was with Him, behind Him and before Him.  When we align ourselves with the presence, purpose and plans of God, we are strengthened, bold, courageous, and fearless.  Seek God’s plans for you and be strengthened in Christ’s name.
