1 Peter 1:18-19  you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

You are redeemed wholly by the righteous, loving Holy One.  The Lamb of God – the perfect, gentle  Jesus Christ – sacrificed Himself for you.  No inheritance, self-will, striving or sacrifice can redeem you.  The blood of the Lamb is your redemption.   You are made spotless because of His cross.  You are made new because of His Spirit. Oh praise the Risen Lamb of God!
