1 Peter 2:4-5  As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ

By your faith in Christ, you are being built for holiness.  You are learning how to offer yourself to God, as a living stone of a spiritual house to reflect God’s glory.  He refines you for His Kingdom-building, so you are fit to be a part of His priesthood and make spiritual sacrifices (of time, commitment, and love) to Him.  Trust God, and do not be concerned about others who may reject you. You are precious to God, just like Christ is precious to God. Christ is the Living Stone that makes the spiritual house complete. Be patient with God’s workmanship in you.  Believe God has chosen you to be a living stone to reflect His glory.  Holiness is a refining, building process.
