Jesus wants us, simply, to trust Him. When asked by a synagogue leader to heal his sick daughter, Jesus waited, and the father thought she died, but Jesus revealed later she was only asleep.
Mark 5:36 “But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, ‘Do not fear, only believe.'”
Let this be our daily truth. We do not fear, we only believe. We replace our fears, worries, sufferings and disappointments with trust in God. Shout aloud, “I trust you, God,” and see how fears subside, worries shrink back — they tremble at the sight of our almighty, trustworthy, healing God! He is to be trusted above all.
