When we ask God to carry us, we have His peace, an untroubled mind, and a brave spirit. His peace is nothing like what the world offers; it is lasting, powerful, and all-encompassing: underneath and in everything. He gives us hearts of courage, not fear. His peace liberates us from fear’s grasp; we are released and free in Jesus! He causes us to have minds that are at rest — no longer afraid of trouble, hardship, darkness, aloneness, unforgiveness, or sadness. Fear breaks us down… but God’s peace makes us whole. There is no room for our hearts to be troubled or afraid. His peace helps us get back up. His peace carries us through everything. His peace points us home to His love.
