Luke 6:12

“It was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God.”

As Christ was filled with the power and presence of God’s Spirit His entire life on Earth, His every decision purposefully glorified the Kingdom of God. Jesus chose to spend time in prayer, communing with His heavenly Father and God’s Spirit in Him. He left the distractions and the noise, found a place of quiet contemplation, and spent lengthy time in prayer. And this was for the glory of God. Prayer infused Jesus with God’s power, peace, and purpose. Father, help us choose to spend time in prayer and contemplation to Your Holy Trinity. In Christ’s Name, Amen!
