“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Notice how God does not say: For I know the plans you have for you. He says: For I know the plans I have for you. God has His plans for your life. His plans are full of hope and joy. His Spirit, who is a person and our advocate and helper, is in you who believe, united with your uniquely God-created spirit, to help you fulfill His plans. It starts with reading God’s Word, believing His promises, obeying His commands (mainly to love and serve), and desiring God above all else. And what comes when we find intimacy with our creator God, His redeeming Son, and His guiding Spirit. Truly, a future of hope!
