Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

God transforms us by renewing our mind. His Spirit is the transformer. As we pray to surrender to the healing work of His Spirit, and humbly accept His renewal of our minds, we are transformed from our selfishness to desiring God’s will. And we know His will by seeking and obeying the truth in His Word. Just as God transforms the barren, wintry branch into springtime blossoms, He beautifully renews our minds through His Spirit and Word.
