Matthew 18:5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Jesus tells His disciples that little children are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. They understand how to fully trust God with their hearts, minds, souls and futures, as they live moment by moment in dependence on their Heavenly Father with bright eyed wonder, sheer joy and authentic faith.  How miraculous it is that God creates children who demonstrate true faith to us, His followers. Let us emulate  the faith of God’s little children and open our hearts to receive them. For we welcome Christ Himself when we invite His children into our hearts!
