Christ’s death and resurrection ushered in a new covenant of God, meaning a new promise, with His children. His covenant, established by His shed blood on the cross, brings mercy, grace and forgiveness from our sins forever. We are no longer separate from God. Sin is powerless over us. He has covenanted with us through Christ to be in loving, grace-filled relationship with us forever.
