Genesis 1:26 26 “Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.'”

God speaks, and it is.  His Word has the power to create life.  He spoke and created humans in the image of the Trinity.  The Hebrew language in Genesis 1:26 is plural, “our.” We are created to reflect the relationship of our triune God: God our Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit.  We are fundamentally relational beings, designed to love.  Let us see ourselves as reflections of our infinitely loving, relational God who created us.
