John 1:5  “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”

Where does God’s light shine? In the darkness…in the depths of hopelessness…in the desperate places of our soul.  And the darkness cannot overcome the light.  Indeed, the light shines so brightly it transforms us. God’s light will overtake and overcome all of the darkness in our lives. This is His promise and assurance to us.  We become His shining, radiant lights.
