John 15:2  He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

As the tender gardener of our souls, God prunes our branches so more new, abundant life grows, and He cuts off every dead branch belonging to our ego. He flourishes every living branch inhabited by His Spirit, pruning the branches with His transformative forgiveness, love and grace.  We know God’s Spirit is tending to our souls when we experience fruitfulness.  More and more flowering fruit of love, joy and peace abounds as He takes up residence in every branch of our lives.  He is a loving and nurturing Gardener of our Souls.
