2 Corinthians 4:6-7  Because the God who said, Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not out of us.

God’s Spirit, who is in the same likeness as God and Jesus Christ, lives in us earthen vessels as a treasure, displaying the glory of God from within.  There is a deep contrast between our fragile jars of clay bodies and God’s all-powerful, transformative Spirit inside of us.  He illuminates our hearts through His promised Son who lives in us by the power of His Spirit.  We carry around the powerful message of hope in Christ because the Messenger lives in us!  See His glory shining through your inner Spirit, radiating hope to the world!
