Philippians 2:13  For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Living like Christ is only possible by God’s igniting Holy Spirit power.  He empowers us by His Spirit to be loving, humble, compassionate, obedient in prayer, unifying and generous.  God energizes our mind, body and spirit to love outwardly, boldly and unconditionally like Christ. He impassions our desire to be Christlike in our actions, thoughts and words.  He enables us to be the hands, feet, mouth and heart of Christ to others.  He kindles the Holy Spirit to set our hearts ablaze for His passions and purposes.  Our love for God and others intensifies as His Spirit fans the flames of Christ’s love in our hearts.
