Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Proverbs 16:9  The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps 

God keeps reminding us, even through our constant, restless thoughts and endless changing circumstances, that He is the One in control.  We overanalyze, plan every detail, and try to resist surrender, when we really just need to rest in His sovereign will.  God’s purpose for your life will prevail.  He will establish the steps you take that lead you back to Him.  Graciously accept that God is in control.  Surrender to His Spirit who walks by faith with you to experience the sovereignty of God unfold in His plans and purpose for you.
