Refiner’s Fire

Zechariah 13:8-9 “It will come about in all the land,” Declares the LORD, “That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it. And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.'”

Call on God’s name when you are being refined by the fires of life. Seek His Spirit in the testing of your strength. He will answer you and affirm that you are His. And, in the midst of trial, you will still praise God, acknowledging He is your Lord. That is how amazing God is: He enables you to see who He really is and even praise Him in earthly struggles.

God refines us like silver. He shapes our hearts to desire Him as He brings us through the fires. Our hearts call to Him and He answers us. He does not abandon us to the flames. He calls us by name. He knows exactly what we are going through and He knows we need Him. He reminds us that an authentic, loving relationship with Him takes refining. The great Refiner’s Fire is our life, and the reward is eternal relationship with Him.

Be of hope when God is refining you in the fire and calling you home to Him.

Thank you for putting it together for me!! It was a wow moment!! Was Nathan’s awesome picture at some type of festival? My you both have a very merry Christmas. In Christ, Connie
