Romans 8: 14-16, 37  For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit You received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children….

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

The Spirit of God in you affirms you are God’s child.  You identify with God by trusting Him, your loving Father. Your circumstances do not define your identity.  You are adopted into an eternal family of love, trust and hope. Your soul cries out for your Father; He answers with all-consuming love.  You are no longer a slave to self with all of its fear, defeat, unlove and brokenness.  You are a child of God: you more than conquer this life through God’s fatherly love.  The Spirit of God leads you right to the heart of God.  You can conquer all fears and defeat all false identities by coming to your Father in trust and asking His Spirit to lead you in love.  Allow God’s Spirit alive in you to affirm your true identity in Christ, then be fully alive and in love as His child!
