Luke 11:9-10  So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Jesus says to ask.  Ask God and you will receive from God.  He answers those who ask.  He finds those who seek Him with their whole hearts.  He provides for those who need Him.  He wants your heart to open and receive His loving provision. It takes action to ask and receive…to put your heart on the line with God and tell Him your needs and desires…and then to open your heart wider to receive His blessings and give thanks.

Take an active stance in asking and receiving from God.  Know Christ sacrificed greatly in coming to our world to experience and provide for our needs.  In this season of Advent, we ask Lord Jesus Christ to come into our hearts, so we may openly receive His love, grace and truth.  Ask and receive.
