Ephesians 1:17-19. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

God loves us with the same love He loves Jesus with.  God empowers us with the same spiritual power He resurrected Jesus with.  God gives us the same inheritance in eternity as the saints.  God strengthens us with the same boundless strength as the heroes of our faith.  The extravagance of God’s generosity is limitless and endless.  We are included in God’s supreme plans to love forever, empower forever and save forever.  Let us pray that the eyes of our hearts be enlightened to know the riches of God’s extravagant love and the promise of eternal hope in Christ Jesus.  Amen!
