Hope of the Glory of God

Romans 5:2-5 “Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

We rejoice in hope of the glory of God because His glory is revealed as He transforms and redeems our suffering!  He strengthens us to endure every hardship.  He solidifies our character as we persevere through trials by our faith in Him.  He springs forth eternal hope in our spirits. Our momentary suffering is redeemed to eternal hope, as we endure and change through the love of God.  All of this is possible because we are firmly standing in God’s grace.  Let us rejoice.
