Isaiah 61:10   I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness.

How beautifully we are clothed in God’s salvation. He wraps us in robes  of righteousness!  This means that we are justly covered by a gracious covenant relationship with God; we are made right through God, His Son and Spirit so that we can conform our will to His will.  As children of God, we wear His righteousness when we are in right relationship with God, rejoicing in His salvation and following His will, living out His kingdom of love on earth. Our hearts are overwhelmed with joy at the beauty of our garments of righteousness, woven with justice and mercy.  How great is the love God has lavished on us!
