Matthew 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

Proverbs 2:3-4 if you call out for insight  and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord  and find the knowledge of God.

The hidden treasure we search for is found in God, not in the world.   We gladly relinquish our ties to the world for insight into God’s kingdom and abundant life in Christ. Worship of God, and godly wisdom, far surpass earthly treasure.  We are learning how God refines us by our circumstances and His Word to experience deeply His Kingdom on earth;  we are in the refiner’s fire, becoming more beautiful than gold.  Keep seeking to uncover the treasure of God’s truth and to live in the beauty of His Kingdom on earth.  God cherishes you and lavishes His gifts of wisdom, truth and love on you!
