Psalm 62:6 “He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I will not be shaken.”   God gives us a beautiful visual symbol of His strength in this psalm.   He, alone, is our rock.  He cannot be moved.  His protection is rock-solid.  His salvation is eternal.  His strength is impenetrable, infallible and unchanging. 

Like a fortress rising out of the ocean, for the protection of the land, God creates a strong barrier of safety for our souls. An ocean of circumstances and hardships try to shake our faith.  God will not be shaken.  He is firm and will not falter.  We can do all things through Him who strengthens us, the Rock of our Salvation!
