James 5:7-8, NIV “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.”

God has infinite patience.  His Spirit is our source for patience.  As the farmer waits for the nurturing rain to flourish his crop, we wait for The Lord to bless us with His enlivening presence.  Beautiful flowers unfold in Spring.  Valuable vineyards are harvested in the Fall.  We wait on the Lord for His season to bring beautiful blessings, the most beautiful being His salvation. We are given the spiritual gift of patience in waiting for The Lord.  See how He makes all natural things beautiful in His timing! Wait on Him, children of God.
