God lavishes grace on us

Ephesians 1:7-8 “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us” (NIV).

The Message says verses 7-8 like this: “Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free.”

God is rich in grace, abundant in forgiveness, and full of mercy. God lavishes His grace on us because of Christ’s redemption through the cross.  Take meaningful time in prayer to ask and receive God’s forgiveness, and delight in your abundant freedom!  He lavishes His grace on you…a continual flow of divine mercy.

  1. Being in love with Jesus and making righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit – the kingdom of God- is the funnest way to be in love. Sin lames; Jesus has us healed. Love. =) Thanks for the beautiful encouragements. The definition of kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit – Romans 14:17- the kingdom of God is true love. =)
