Matthew 7:7-8 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

There are 2 important aspects to this scripture:  our persevering faith and God’s powerful love.  We must persevere in asking our loving Father to fulfill the desires He has placed on our heart.  We must persevere in seeking His loving will for our lives — like searching for a treasure buried in a field. And, we must persevere in knocking – in other words, taking action – to experience the love and provision of God,  who waits patiently for His children to act in faith and receive Him.  Ask, seek and knock by faith for the blessing of God’s love!
