God’s power is displayed in His presence, His peacemaking and His protecting….
Psalm 46:9 “He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields[d] with fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.”
God admonishes the violence, the turmoil, the conflict and the weapons of the world to BE STILL. He embodies peace and protection to His people. Perhaps in our own heads and hearts, His presence stills our racing, conflicting and challenging thoughts. We are then in a place of peace, stillness and calmness to worship and exalt Him above all!

If possible, I would like a verse on sorrow, as my best friend has just lost her husband. I’d love to be able to forward the words and beautiful picture. I am enjoying this very much.
